Rigsby Recreation Center hosts events for area residents. The Rigsby Recreation Center's new GREEN playground is officially open for play. it is the first City Park to be designed specifically for preschool ages 2-5. This colorful play structure features 2 slides, a lava wall, a REAL Fun Store and a teeter bridge. This environmentally friendly playground is well shaded and completely enclosed to ensure safe play for kids and peace of mind for parents. The Center has a dock that overlooks the pond to feed the Koi fish. The facility can also be rented for private functions.
The town of Safety Harbor owns two community and recreation facilities: Rigsby Recreation Center and Safety Harbor Community Center. The Rigsby Center hosts events for area residents, including bridge games. The facility can also be rented for private functions.
